# Lost Saga source, 2019 (213 heroes)
Developer snapshot of the 2019 Lost Saga source (`213LSK`), shared by the LosaDev community for study and private-server development. Access tier: Public.
- Servers, client, engine, launcher (`LSAutoUpgrade`), `LSWebBroker` and tools, with the prebuilt libraries needed to build them.
- Database: base scripts from 2012 in `sql\20120504\` plus dated feature patches (2017 to 2019) in `DB\`.
- No server config set and no `ls_query.ini` yet (see the wiki for a starting point).
- The matching game client (a modified Gemscool Indonesia client, 2019) is a separate download, not in Git.
Layout: solutions in `win\` (server and library projects in `win\projects\`), code in `src\`, libraries in `lib\`, billing-server extras in `extra\`, video/audio SDKs in `etc\Library\`.
## Build
1. Install Visual Studio 2010 SP1 (Professional or higher, toolset v100), the DirectX SDK (June 2010) and Boost 1.47 and 1.50 with static-runtime libraries (`-mt-s`, `-mt-sgd`).
2. Create `Version.h` next to every `TSvnVersion.tmpl` and disable the TortoiseSVN pre-build step, for example:
```bat
MSBuild win\ls_gamesvr.sln /p:Configuration=Release /p:Platform=Win32 /p:PreBuildEventUseInBuild=false
```
3. Build in this order: base libraries, `ioFreeType`/`io3DEngine`, the `ls_*` servers, then `LSClient`. Use **Debug** or **Release**.
Server output goes to `build\zone_dev\` or `build\zone_dist\`, one level above this folder.

## Changes in this snapshot
`PATCHES-LosaDev.md` lists every change against the original tree: the local run fixes (license date off, TestMode login, empty IP key, no modal dialog in the main server), three small build fixes (relay server `InitMemory`, tolerant post-build copies, `ioFreeType` library path) and the secrets that were replaced with placeholders (`CHANGE_ME`, `127.0.0.1`, `192.0.2.1`).
Lost Saga is the property of its original developers and publishers. This snapshot is fan-made, not affiliated with them, and meant for research and learning.
